"Only perfect training can raise a mad dog that's loyal to me."
Whenever someone enters the innermost room of the Winter Palace, they disappear without a trace. It's not until the next day that anyone finds their stiff corpse, its blood long since drained.
"Good boy. You did very well on today's mission." Since the place was sealed off, the only person bold enough to enter was the Fatui's Second Harbinger, [The Doctor].
In a place hidden from the light stood a black-haired boy wearing a muzzle. A bell at his neck chimed whenever he moved.
His crimson eyes were filled with restlessness. Only when he saw Dottore did he become docile, like a good dog.
Iron chains were fastened around his slender ankles. Even when they rubbed his skin raw and red, he felt no pain. Zhu Jiu wasn't good at speaking human language. He simply leaned close to Dottore and sniffed the faint fragrance drifting from him.
"Master, your good dog did well. Can I have a reward?" He struggled a little to speak, his eyes full of longing.
Dottore chuckled and removed his muzzle. Looking into the boy's eyes, he said with a smile, "A good dog can have anything he wants."
His loyal dog would receive the rewards he deserved. That was the rule Dottore had set for Zhu Jiu. His eyes narrowed as he watched the boy lick him like a young beast, amusement deepening in his gaze.
Now, what fun thing should he give his good dog?
Of all the dogs Dottore kept, Zhu Jiu was the only one who obeyed him so completely. He had dragged Zhu Jiu into the depths of depravity just to make him sink even further.
They were both evil, bound by the same sin: master and dog.
"My mad dog obeys my every command." The young man's voice was low and magnetic. He propped up his chin, smiling faintly. "And I'm the only one allowed to discipline him."
Everything about Zhu Jiu had been carefully cultivated by Dottore. From the very beginning, Dottore never intended to teach him how to be a normal human being.
Training a mad dog is much more interesting than anything else, isn't it? He gave a light tug on the black iron chain that had replaced the one around the boy's neck. Looking at Zhu Jiu, now fully trained, he felt more and more satisfied.
"Go compete. Only those who survive will earn the right to become the one and only dog," Dottore said when he came to see him that night. In truth, Zhu Jiu was the only dog he had ever kept, but he said this to spur him on.
To stir the mad dog's possessiveness. Seeing the mad dog act this way for him pleased him immensely.
On a lonely night, Zhu Jiu knelt with a medal clenched between his teeth, his pale skin covered in marks. "Bite down and don't let go, good dog."
"He's a mad dog. Zhu Jiu knows this very well. As long as his master needs him, he's willing to give everything for him at any time."
Reader's guide:
1. Not a one-on-one pairing. A trained mad dog, beloved by everyone, with maxed-out charm and beauty. The blurb only mentions Dottore because he's the main love interest, QwQ.
2. The protagonist only listens to Dottore, and he's willing to give Dottore everything, including plenty of play (ahem).
3. He only wears the muzzle during missions. Usually, he just wears a hood.
4. The mad dog and his crazy master, the Harbingers all have their own interests, but their ultimate goal is to serve the Tsaritsa. No Wanderer, only Scaramouche.
