[Genshin Impact] It's Only Natural for a Believer to Profane the Gods

"May the Lord forgive your filthy soul as you descend into the endless depths of hell."

What kind of person could be called a savior?

Qi Yan didn't know, but in any case, it certainly wasn't him.

The blood of a villain ran through his veins. He had no compassion, nor did he want any. What Qi Yan enjoyed was the fear in people's eyes when they looked at him.

But he never imagined that one day he would become a merciful priest.

How ridiculous.

A gentle breeze stirred his long, loose hair. With his hands stained with blood, he looked like a demon crawling out of the abyss.

Soft piano music filled the air. Beneath the bright moonlight, the young man shone like a god.

Qi Yan stopped what he was doing and looked at the person before him.

"I don't like being disturbed."

"Don't come any closer, or I'll kill you."

His voice was utterly indifferent, devoid of any emotion.

"That's the sixty-fifth time you've said that to me."

"And every time, it's been nothing but words."

Unlike everyone else, he wasn't afraid to approach. With a gentle smile, he continued playing.

"..."

Qi Yan looked away and wiped the stains from himself. Yes, he knew he'd said things like that to this guy many times.

But he could never bring himself to do it.

Could someone like him really feel compassion? How absurd.

Night after night, the music played on. To his surprise, Qi Yan had gotten used to it.

He had never dreamed before, but now he dreamed frequently, and every dream featured the young man's smiling face.

He must be going mad.

"By the way, would you be willing to grant me a little wish, Father?"

"I'd like to hear you recite a prayer."

"All right."

He really was going mad. He'd actually agreed to someone else's request.

His silvery-white hair was tied back, and he wore a robe that made him look even more like a priest.

Before agreeing, Qi Yan had never taken a proper look at the statue of the god standing there. Now that he examined it closely, it really did look like him.

As if a thought had occurred to him, he curled his lips into a smile. A forbidden flower began to grow and spread in his heart.

A breeze brushed his cheek. After finishing his performance, Venti still couldn't see Qi Yan anywhere.

Had that guy found something out? He only wanted his good believer to join him completely.

As he wondered, someone gently wrapped an arm around his waist from behind, and a familiar scent washed over him.

Though there was less of a bloody smell than usual.

"Good evening, my god."

The warm breath tickled him, and Venti's eyelashes fluttered.

"I have a grand plan to tell you about."

"A plan to blaspheme against a god."
