[Honkai: Star Rail] But I Really Am a Dark, Unhinged Ghost Boy

Shi Yue died by the swift blade of his beloved.

He saw his beloved's face turn deathly pale, his hand shaking uncontrollably. Though Shi Yue was already close to death, he kept smiling, the corners of his lips lifting even higher.

"Don't be afraid, darling. I like it, and I enjoy being killed by you. It makes me feel so wonderful."

Shi Yue had once made a promise with his beloved: even death would never be able to separate them. And it turned out to be true.

After death, his soul really could only drift by his beloved's side. To him, that was the most wonderful thing imaginable.

He could watch everything his beloved did. Then, one day, Shi Yue discovered that he could touch him.

He could kiss his soft lips, go from brushing his skin to wantonly teasing him. He lost himself in the bliss, delighting in the flustered, helpless look on his beloved's face.

He licked away the tears his beloved shed from trembling, ran his fingers over his body, then whispered intimately in his ear.

"Darling, I love you so, so much. Please never forget me."

"I'll be the only one by your side."

His beloved, now grown up, was no longer as naive as before. He had become especially steady, and only occasionally, when Shi Yue teased him, could a faint blush be glimpsed on his earlobes.

His beloved would always be the only one in his heart, Shi Yue thought, and let his fingers wander again.

His beloved had become the Divine General. His handsome face and distinguished status drew the advances of many people.

When Shi Yue could no longer stand it, he started quietly punching and kicking one of them. Then someone put an arm around his waist.

"Sorry, I already have a beloved."

His beloved's deep, magnetic voice never got old. Shi Yue was swooning over it when he suddenly realized something was wrong.

Wait, how had he been caught? And what were all these people staring at?

Shi Yue realized that they seemed to be able to see him now.

After his beloved sent those people away, Shi Yue was still trying to figure out what to say when he was held down.

It was a position he knew all too well, but their roles had been reversed. He heard his beloved chuckle.

"So this time, shouldn't I be the one to take care of everything for you?"
