I Was Rooting for the Cops in the Fifth Season, Then I Got Sent to Detective Conan

In my last life, I killed people and set fires. In this one, I became a fan of a certain anime and its little death magnets. By the time I saw my favorite ship, Kaito and Shinichi, turn into an incest ship, I had already trained myself to stay calm no matter what happened.

Then I got isekai'd in my next life.

The good news was that I had landed in a world where my favorite characters existed.

The bad news was that I stared at the incredibly familiar Poirot Cafe across the street and the blond man standing with his back to me.

That meant four of my five favorites were already dead.

I turned away before he could turn around.

My eyes filled with tears, and then I crouched down, baring my teeth in pain. I was so tense that my leg had cramped.

Who could make a move? I have social anxiety.

Anyway, I made a very embarrassing escape right at the start.

Later, I was forced to return to my old job to make a living, writing fanfiction with them as the main characters. That made me even more embarrassed to face anyone, so I couldn't bring myself to go to the Poirot Cafe.

Living in this world is so hard.

I came to this cursed world and lost all my merch and plushies! Sure, my favorite characters are real, but only one of the five is still alive!

Not only can I not meet the real people, I don't even have pretty fan art to look at!

Unable to hold back any longer, I went back to my old hobby and started sewing dolls in the gloom of my apartment. Never underestimate the handcrafting skills of a poor shut-in. After a solid week of work, I happily ended up with five adorable little dolls.

They had round heads, tiny bodies, and were soft to the touch. I couldn't take them out for photos, but I could keep them on my desk for company. Plushies are the best! So happy!

Then one day, my little dolls suddenly came to life in my hands.

They came to life! (Screaming)

What a terrifying world.

I have to say, it really is just like that anime.

1. A lighthearted first-person story.

2. A goofy, funny, slice-of-life anime tale.

3. Some characters will be saved from their canon deaths.
