Kazehaya Shirasumi discovered that he had transmigrated, bringing his whole body with him.
He had also arrived somewhere both familiar and unfamiliar. It was unfamiliar because he had never been there before, but familiar because the buildings in front of him looked so much like the ones in Detective Conan.
So, as an undocumented person, how was he supposed to survive in a city with such a high danger level?
Kazehaya Shirasumi didn't even have a penny on him.
As he pondered this, he noticed an inconspicuous-looking car parked by the roadside.
A sudden sense of connection made him stop and turn to look. Just then, the car window rolled down, and he met the gaze of the handsome man inside.
Kazehaya Shirasumi froze for a moment, then his smile grew wider and wider.
He thought, I know this person.
[Higashikuze Ryuji]
His most successful character in The Sims. Back then, to get this result, he had deliberately loaded a whole lot of mods from different fields, turning him into the uncrowned king of the world in every sense, whether in wealth or power.
"Can you take care of me?" The boy stood in front of the car, ignoring the wary look from the driver. He blinked at the imposing man whose eyes were full of indifference, then asked with a smile.
"Sure."
An answer that stunned everyone except the two of them.
[The Gentle Flower Shop Owner]
Kazehaya Shirasumi rose on tiptoe to accept the eleventh bouquet he'd been given, pretending not to notice the bloodstains on the hand he'd tucked behind his back, which he hadn't had time to wash off.
[The Detective Who Sees Through People]
Kazehaya Shirasumi had hidden away in a cafe, hoping for a little peace and quiet, but the detective found him with ease. Seeing the detective's seemingly unconcerned expression, with a hint of hurt in his eyes, Kazehaya Shirasumi could only hurry to explain that he hadn't deliberately been avoiding him.
[The Irresponsible Painter]
The painter seemed to know all sorts of secrets, yet always looked like a carefree good-for-nothing. He was never interested in anything for long, until he met his muse, Kazehaya Shirasumi.
[The Officer Who Embodies Hope]
The stern-faced officer kept bringing him desserts on schedule, and even got caught by his friends. Seeing how unbothered the officer seemed, Kazehaya Shirasumi sighed and accepted them anyway. If he refused, the officer would sulk.
[The Easygoing, Self-Indulgent Killer]
When Kazehaya Shirasumi got lost at dusk, he came across a strange young killer. He asked if he could stay with him, only to discover that his colleague Bourbon was there too. Luckily, things went smoothly, and he managed not to end up sleeping on the streets.
And there were many more, of different ages and genders, from all sorts of fields.
[Doctor] [Reporter] [Researcher] [Lawyer] [Employee] [...]
Kazehaya Shirasumi used to be a devoted player of The Sims, guiding characters with different personas through so many lives that even he could hardly keep count.
Thanks to his impressive gaming skills, most of them achieved great success in their respective fields. Of course, some remained unknown, while others died young because of their limited lifespans.
In this new world, Kazehaya Shirasumi discovered many characters he had once controlled.
They had all gained self-awareness.
The good news was, they would never turn Kazehaya Shirasumi away.
