My Archrival Hatches from an Egg

Xu Jingze's soul transmigrated into the body of a celebrity hated by the whole internet. Netizens cursed him every day, but he soon calmed down.

Xu Jingze: You keep cursing. I'll keep making money.

He thought he'd spend the rest of his life coasting like this, until he found an egg on his way home. It was pitch-black, with scales on its surface.

A fortune-teller told him that if he took good care of the egg, he'd have food and clothes for the rest of his life, and become a huge star.

Xu Jingze: I'm skeptical, but tempted. I'll sneak it home.

At last, the egg hatched, and a black snake emerged, about as thick as a finger.

A week later, the snake was as thick as his arm.

Half a month later, the snake was thicker than his calf.

Xu Jingze: I've never raised a snake, but this can't be right, can it???

Later, the snake "evolved" and turned into someone who looked exactly like his arch-nemesis! He'd even lost his memory!

Xu Jingze tried hard to look sincere. "You really don't remember anything?"

The amnesiac Xun Yi nodded coolly.

Xu Jingze: "I'm your dad. Come on, call me Dad."

As a rising movie star, Xun Yi was making waves in the entertainment industry. But due to a certain unavoidable circumstance, he couldn't work for three months every year.

All he had to do was stay in the egg until it hatched and his memories returned. Then something unexpected happened: someone picked him up.

The person who took him in kept trying to convince him every day that he was his dad.

Xun Yi thought: When I get my memory back, I'll find someone to beat you up!

But one day, the person who'd taken him home suddenly said, "I heard snakes have two. Is that true?"

Xun Yi's expression turned cold.

---Extra Scene---

The room was filled with all kinds of delightful sounds. Xun Yi swept his hair back and looked down at Xu Jingze, whose cheeks were flushed and whose eyes had gone blank.

He leaned down and kissed him passionately.

Xu Jingze pushed Xun Yi away, his voice hoarse.

Xun Yi asked with a laugh, "Weren't you curious about me? See for yourself how many there are."

Xu Jingze: "Damn it, I shouldn't have picked up random stuff off the street."

Xun Yi: "Call me Dad and I'll stop."
