This Generation's Protagonist Is Beyond Saving [Danganronpa]

[Saved as a draft. Progress: 1]

[This world is one giant class trial.]

When Kazehaya Yuma was locked inside the End-of-the-Century Academy, a line like this suddenly appeared before his eyes.

He watched, conflicted, as lines of text appeared one after another beside the black-and-white bear, who was saying something strange. His eyes went a little unfocused.

[Our principal is as cute as ever.]

[Is the person above the black-and-white bear himself?]

[All the Super High School Levels this time are handsome and beautiful. Not a single clown. You really are just trying to make money, aren't you, Spike Chunsoft?]

[Can't help it. The price multiplier for popular characters and clowns is something you only understand once you've bought it. You buy one and go silent.]

[Is this little white-haired boy the protagonist this time? Why does he look so Komaeda-like? I feel like he's about to start saying "subarashii" any second.]

[But he's cute, though. Let me give him a squeeze.]

[Let me see who the chaos-maker is this season. Oh no, they're all handsome. They all look like they know how to stir things up.]

[It's fine, it's fine. They still have to introduce themselves first. Once they get to know everyone, a new, ]

"Mutual killing!"

[Mutual killing!]

The black-and-white bear's absurdly cute voice and the countless comments rang out together, echoing over and over through the gymnasium.

Everyone looked frightened. Some were on the verge of tears.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

A sudden burst of laughter rang out. Everyone turned to stare at him. The black-and-white bear tilted its head, its red electronic eyes flashing a few times.

[?] [????] [...?] [...Wait, wait, wait.]

Kazehaya Yuma laughed so hard his stomach hurt. He crouched down without a care for appearances, but the smile never left his face.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

"Now this is getting interesting. I've had enough of this boring world." Kazehaya Yuma raised his head and looked straight at the black-and-white bear. "Hey, I said hurry up and start. I can't wait any longer... What was it called, mutual killing?"

The white-haired boy straightened up and gave a soft laugh.

"After all, without a case, there's no need for a detective. Let's skip the self-introductions. I'm the Super High School Level Detective, Kazehaya Yuma. I look forward to working with you in the days ahead, all you corpses... Ah, sorry, classmates."

[Holy crap, the chaos-maker this time is the protagonist?! What kind of guy did they choose for the protagonist this time???]

◆Reading Guide◆

1. Set against Danganronpa, with an entirely original cast. Written for my personal tastes and my own amusement. It won't be paywalled. The setting is probably like V3, but the cases shouldn't be as unhinged as V3's. The setting will lean more toward the first two games.

2. The protagonist can see comments. The male lead and second male lead have separate stories in my series list. Since both characters are from a Danganronpa setting, I wanted to create an original world for them. It's a supplement to the main story.

3. This is just an idea for now. I'll work on it if I have time. If I start it, please leave lots of comments! You can discuss it with me in the idea collection at the bottom of my series list.

4. Why is someone giving a free story that's only up for pre-collection one star? I'm so sad, qwq.
