If I Fail the College Entrance Exam, I Have to Go Back and Take the Throne

At XX High School's senior division, an international transfer student suddenly arrived.

"Student Rainlichis..."

"Just call me Hine."

"All right, Hine. You mean you gave up your private school abroad, where classes ran from ten in the morning to two in the afternoon and there were an unbelievable number of activities, to come here for your senior year?"

"That's right! When I was corresponding with DD a long time ago, I was so envious of everyone working toward a common goal. I've always been fascinated by the universities here, too. It all sounds much more interesting than my boring life!"

"You've lost your mind!"

-

Hine Edweil Rainlichis, the sixth prince of the XX Empire, saw his innocence completely crushed on his first day on Earth by the rule requiring students to arrive at school at six-thirty in the morning.

-

As time went by, Hine gradually got used to the intense academic life, and even found some enjoyment in subjects he had never studied before.

Until one day, during a drowsy lecture attended by the whole school, a middle-aged man onstage droned on with tiresome remarks when the auditorium doors suddenly swung open.

Twin knights in immaculate formal uniforms stood there, their bearing imposing. They walked straight to Hine and knelt on one knee before him. The dark-haired one, whose handsome features resembled his twin's, spoke respectfully:

"Your Highness, an emergency has arisen. Please return and ascend the throne."

The handsome transfer student's brows drew together slightly. In the auditorium, silenced by their arrival, his voice carried clearly to every person present:

"Can't whatever it is wait until after I finish my university entrance exams?"

[Reading Guide]

1. The blurb will be polished further, but the premise won't change. Simply put, it's about a student from another world coming to Earth for his senior year of high school. How is another world not abroad? And how is studying here not being an international student?

2. A universally adored protagonist, a sweet story with an all-good cast and a happy family feel.

3. I can't decide on the pairing yet. I'll decide after revising it later. This is a personal indulgence, so there'll be plenty of scenes I, a simple country bumpkin, like to read, such as the one in the blurb.

4. Please add it to your favorites if you like it! If it reaches the threshold for a contract, I'll write it this year ().
