Running Away from My Wedding, I Was Chased by Eighteen Bodyguards and Became a Parkour Champion

[I'm starting to plan this story. I'll see how it does on the rankings before launching it. Sending love!]

Chi Chi died.

Then came back to life.

In his previous life, he loved having fun and lived by the belief that freedom was the most important thing. He was a parkour enthusiast.

Naturally, when he woke up in the body of a fake young master cast as the villain and used as a substitute groom in a wealthy family, Chi Chi couldn't accept it.

What's more, he'd read this book. He still vividly remembered the original's tragic ending: humiliated by the real young master, mocked by the wealthy circle, toyed with by the villain, and eventually confined to a mental hospital, where he died in despair. How could Chi Chi repeat the same mistakes and throw his life away again?

Chi Chi was so worked up that he didn't even notice he was wearing a wedding dress and was about to be taken by the villain's men to the wedding venue.

All he heard was the door handle turning.

Chi Chi made a break for it.

The butler had just walked in and saw it happen:

Chi Chi did a somersault and jumped out of the...

window.

The butler's eyes nearly popped out of his head. He shouted to the villain, "Young master! This is bad! Young Master Chi would rather jump to his death than marry you!!!"

The young master: "..."

Chi Chi had no idea the villain's estate was so huge.

He climbed out the window, never imagining that as soon as he landed, he'd run straight into the eighteen bodyguards in the villain's courtyard.

Looking at the eighteen tall, imposing bodyguards, Chi Chi did the obvious thing and ran for it!!

Chi Chi ran so fast, and the buildings around him were so confusing, that he freely weaved through the maze of structures at ground level.

He sprinted up a slope, planted his hands expertly on a low wall, and flipped onto its edge.

Chi Chi had no idea that his unconventional choice of an extremely difficult route had led him into a parkour competition taking place nearby.

The competitors had been making it look easy.

Then Chi Chi came running lightly along the top of the wall.

At the end, he fixed his eyes on the barrier ahead, leaped into the air... and cleared it with a flip, as if he had superpowers, right before everyone's eyes.

He crossed the finish line...

So, after the competition ended, the champion who'd seen Chi Chi in a wedding dress dash past the event, trophy in hand, said, "...Um, let's dedicate this championship to... that stranger from a moment ago."

The competition venue was in chaos.

Meanwhile, a bodyguard standing dazed at the end of a wall atop a thirty-story building finally awkwardly reported to the villain through his earpiece: "Young master, you should give up. Young Master Chi seems... like he'd rather die than marry you."

The other end: "..."

[Little romance scene]

Later, the powerful villain personally chased down Chi Chi, who'd been running all over the world to escape the wedding.

Looking at Chi Chi, who'd been kissed senseless in his arms and was still dazed,

he whispered, his voice full of affection, "Chi Chi, I heard you'd rather die than marry me. Is that right?"
