When the Vongola family was founded, there was still so much to do. Just as its ambitious young first boss was preparing to make a name for himself, travelers from the future spoiled everything.

For example, the Vongola would become a mighty force admired by all.

For example, he would spend the rest of his life in a certain country where cherry blossoms bloom.

And for example, the future Tenth Vongola Boss standing before him was his descendant.

Looking at the young man's resemblance to him, the young boss decided to believe the boy who claimed to be his descendant. But the past must not be changed lightly, so he needed to send the people from the future back as soon as possible.

But to his utter surprise, the cannon failed to bring them back ten years later, and they instead learned two terrifying things.

Someone was using the name of the legendary Ghost of the Uchiha to recruit followers and start a war.

And the younger brother of the God of Shinobi had come back from the dead and joined Akatsuki, an organization secretly controlled by the greatest enemy of his older brother: that very Ghost of the Uchiha.

The future Tenth Vongola Boss, who had no idea that the ninja games were actually real history, stared in confusion: ...Is this what they mean when they say art comes from life, but life is stranger than art?
