Protecting history is the duty of a Saniwa.

But what if that "history" is the annihilation of your entire clan?

So that young man was a Saniwa.

So "history" could not be changed.

But since that person had already set a precedent, why should Izuna have to watch the Uchiha meet their end with his own eyes?
