At a friend's urging, I've added a line about the main plot: the romance is just background, and the love interest appears very late (?) Here's the blurb:

Ye Duguang is the Mayfly's sharpest blade, striking at nonhuman anomalies and maintaining peaceful coexistence between ability users and ordinary people. He is the nightmare of anyone with ill intentions.

There's only one reason: Ye Duguang can erase every special ability in the world, making him the one enemy they fear most.

But there's someone who isn't afraid of him. Instead, this person sees him as an idol and runs around everywhere pleading for justice when Ye Duguang is slandered.

After the accusations are cleared and Ye Duguang returns to the front lines, he discovers that the little fan who used to follow him around is none other than Dai Yunhe, the undisputed strongest ability user.

Ye Duguang is baffled and at a loss: "...Did we know each other before this?"

Dai Yunhe looks at him, the coldness in his eyes seeming to melt. "Of course."

It's a classic story of rescue and being rescued.

Ye Duguang came through the moonlight, surrounded by mist, and saved Dai Yunhe from a desperate situation, becoming a god he could never forget.

Unfortunately, before Dai Yunhe could express his gratitude to Ye Duguang, the final battle began and ended in disaster. As he struggled on the brink of death, Wan Zhengran, the leader of the anomalies, shattered the wheel of time with a single blow.

Time was forcibly reset, and the second run began. This time, a figure named Dai Yunhe became a shield at the side of Ye Duguang, who had always walked alone.

Destroying the anomalous creatures is the long-held wish of ability users. Ye Duguang has always fought on the front lines, and his honor shouldn't be stained by baseless accusations and framing. For this reason, Dai Yunhe is willing to join the Mayfly and fight alongside Ye Duguang.

But just when everything is going smoothly and the anomalies are steadily losing ground, no one expects Ye Duguang to suddenly draw a sharp knife and drive it mercilessly into Dai Yunhe's heart.

Dai Yunhe, the strongest ability user, is shattered.

Then the underground seal is broken, and countless anomalous creatures swarm out, wreaking havoc on humanity and treating the world as their own playground.

Ye Duguang stands coldly before Wan Zhengran, then turns his blade against everything he once protected.

In the end, humanity has no choice but to reset time once more, putting everything in Dai Yunhe's hands.

--Now the third run begins.
