The Poor, Honest Man Haunted by a Male Ghost

An ordinary evening at college, Shi Youyu was sexually assaulted.

He was introverted and awkward, and didn't dare speak up even after what happened. It was his friend Wen Shanming who noticed something was wrong and took him to report it to the police.

But the perpetrator was extremely cunning and left no trace. Shi Youyu didn't even know what he looked like, so in the end, nothing came of it.

Before long, the same thing happened again. This time, the man went even further, threatening that if Shi Youyu ever called the police again, he'd rape him.

Only then did Shi Youyu realize that the man had been following and watching him all along, from places he couldn't see.

He became completely terrified, even developing severe paranoia about being targeted, until he was afraid to leave the house.

He moved in with a friend. Under that friend's meticulous care and protection, the man never came after him again, and his condition gradually improved.

Except that he could always hear strange noises coming from next door at night. Sometimes they sounded like fingernails scratching at the wall, sometimes like an animal snarling, and sometimes like someone sawing wood...

Shi Youyu thought his illness must not have fully healed, and that he was hallucinating.

Later, Shi Youyu and Wen Shanming, who had always looked after him so carefully, became lovers.

His boyfriend was handsome, came from a distinguished family, and was gentle and considerate. Most importantly, he didn't look down on Shi Youyu for what had happened to him. Shi Youyu felt both content and grateful.

But as they grew closer, he gradually began to notice something off about his boyfriend...

For example, the man who was always so refined and courteous by day would sometimes seem like a completely different person at night. He'd make excessive demands of Shi Youyu, and whisper lewd things in his ear...

It was Shi Youyu's first relationship, and he thought all men acted like this when they were passionately in love, so he didn't pay it much mind.

That is, until one day, he found a notebook in his boyfriend's closet. Two completely different handwritings alternated across its pages.

"Does he know I was the one fucking him last night? Hehe."

The next line was in the familiar handwriting of his boyfriend.

"I'll kill you."

[An incredibly oblivious, awkward, honest bottom x A seemingly gentle and refined, but actually completely insane and unhinged top]

Reading Guide:

1. One-on-one, both are each other's first and only. They have mutual feelings.

2. The top is completely unhinged, extremely, extremely crazy, a thousand times crazier than the blurb suggests. Don't judge him by normal standards.

3. A dark, twisted romance. The story is very dark, but the ending is very romantic, I think.

Theme: Don't bully honest people
