This Is Definitely Not a Blue Lock Game

[Preorder: Volleyball's Midfield Commander!] Please add it to your reading list~ Ling Tatsumi, an English-Japanese mixed-race teenager, suddenly receives an invitation signed by Japan's Blue Lock on the day he turns sixteen. Soccer is a sport played by eleven people, so teammates should work together in harmony, support one another, and win... That's all bullshit! So declared Ego Jinpachi, the director of Blue Lock. The Blue Lock Project aims to overturn traditional thinking and set off a soccer craze by creating the world's number-one striker. Specially invited, Ling Tatsumi returns from England to Japan to take part. Ling Tatsumi: So, it's an unconventional survival game? Later, Blue Lock rolls out mentor-based entertainment matches, BLTV livestreams, club-owner ranking campaigns (player bids and transfers), and Blue Lock star debuts... Ling Tatsumi: Is it still in time to quit? :) Bonus Scene BLTV player interview segment: Michael Kaiser: "Me and Ling-chan. That's what you Japanese call someone you're close to, right? Ling-chan and I have known each other for a long time. In your terms, you could say we're childhood friends." Ling Tatsumi: "..." If seeing each other once and getting into a fight counts, then he's not exactly wrong. 1. The story includes manga events after the first season. If you mind spoilers, please proceed with caution. 2. The romance comes later, and there is only one couple (emphasis): Ling Tatsumi (bottom) x Kaiser (top). 3. Lots of matches. A lot. So many.
