[Blue Lock] LOCK ON

[Updates are irregular. Unless something unexpected comes up, new chapters will be posted at noon or midnight.] [Comments between paragraphs are now open to everyone, so come join in!] My name is Kaoru Kujo. I'm 17 and in my second year of high school. A few days ago, I received an invitation from the Japan Football Association. They invited me to take part in an intensive training camp. Things haven't been going well lately, so I joined the Blue Lock Project to get away from it all. Supposedly, it brings together the top 300 strikers in all of Japan. Whether I'm a striker or not doesn't matter. I just want to keep winning until the very end. Soccer is the one thing I absolutely refuse to lose at. Before you read: 1. This is pure wish fulfillment, and the protagonist is overpowered. I'm jumping into this with enthusiasm, but there's no guarantee I'll finish. I've abandoned too many stories, so I'm writing this one for myself. 2. You could call it an outline-free writing exercise. OOC warning, tons of personal headcanons, and I may make all sorts of revisions along the way. Read at your own risk. 3. Everyone has different tastes. If this isn't for you, please move on. Theme: Don't run away. Facing reality is the only way to grow.
