[Blue Lock] A Catlike Player Takes to the Soccer Field

After winning the national tournament, Nekozawa Tetsuya advanced to high school with the rest of Rikkai, but didn't join the U-17 training camp. He received an invitation to take part in the Blue Lock project, hosted by Ego Jinpachi and intended to "conduct an experiment to create the world's number-one striker." Among the many soccer players, just after Ego Jinpachi finished speaking, he raised his hand to ask a question: "Sorry, but I play tennis." Tennis player, member of a national tournament championship team, genius: these were the labels Nekozawa Tetsuya had earned. With exceptional talent, he had established his place on Rikkai's tennis team, where the strong ruled. Hailed as a "god" above the "Child of God" and burdened with the hopes of the entire Japanese public, the idea of him playing soccer was something no one could imagine. The Rikkai team felt it was a pity. Yukimura Seiichi said, "A-Tetsu, tennis is where you belong. Don't forget our promise: to become the world's number one." Nekozawa Tetsuya's response: "Sorry, playing tennis is too boring. I'm going to become the world's number-one striker." The thrills and fun soccer brought him were incomparable to tennis. The unknowns of a team battle between eleven players awakened the beast that had been sleeping within him. Notes: 1. The protagonist is overwhelmingly strong. Imamura Yudai has been replaced, and he won't steal Isagi's spotlight. 2. This is the protagonist's first time playing soccer, but he'll pick it up easily because he's a genius. 3. Everyone has ambiguous feelings toward one another, no pairings. OOC is on me. Coming soon: "About a Cat Playing Volleyball" A Nekoma alternate-universe story where Tetsu plays volleyball.
