[Blue Lock] Reo-kun, the Perfect Teammate

Before entering the football striker selection program known as Blue Lock, Jiang Xia Lian had never thought about what “ego” meant in football. When people asked why he wanted to be a striker, this forward, who had dazzled at the national tournament with his superb technique, would only lower his head and say, “There wasn’t a striker on the team, so I played that position. It wasn’t anything special.” Jiang Xia Lian was the player in all of Blue Lock who came closest to being normal: a lovely-looking boy, quiet and unsociable, who hardly spoke or got angry. His eyes held no blazing ambition, only the confusion of a beautiful boy. He was hard to approach, almost excessively introverted, but very obedient. Since he had no strong preferences, he didn’t mind doing anything. The boy had a strange outlook on friendship. Someone had apparently filled his head with the wrong ideas, because he would give anything asked of him by those he called teammates and friends. He had no sense of boundaries and indulged them without understanding what was normal. But once you became his friend, the passes he gave you were just so good... There was a saying circulating in Blue Lock: Jiang Xia Lian had no weaknesses in his technique, no ambition to fight for the ball, and no temper. He was great at working with his teammates, or rather, indulging them, and fit perfectly in any position. In other words, he was the perfect teammate. Every striker in Blue Lock wanted to be Jiang Xia Lian’s teammate, and it was a painful pleasure. #Writing a brainless, adored-by-everyone fantasy to amuse myself #I have no writing skill, but there is OOC.
