[Blue Lock] Both My Childhood Friend and My New Rival Think They'll Lose

This world was full of boring people and boring things. Only one exception appeared in Kuga Mao's first seventeen years of life. "Mao, come with me." His purple-haired childhood friend took his hand and ran across the school grounds. "Reo?" "I'm taking you to see the treasure I found!" Reo said happily, pulling him along as they ran. The purple strands beside his face fluttered in the wind. He was the only bright color in Mao's monotonous life. Kuga Mao followed his childhood friend across the school grounds until they reached a wide expanse of green. A cylindrical metal cage in the corner was piled high with dusty soccer balls. In the background, video game sound effects of fighting and killing clashed with the surroundings. A boy in a tracksuit sat on the steps with his knees bent. His white hair curled up, and his lowered head hid his expression as he tapped away at a phone held sideways. Reo called to him, "Nagi!" The white-haired boy paused, then said lazily, "Ugh, I died." He slowly closed the game, set down his phone, and lifted his head, revealing crystal-clear gray eyes. Kuga Mao saw color for the second time. The youth of three people began. [Please note before reading] 1. This is a free story. I don't accept one- to three-star ratings. 2. Love triangle. Don't read if you dislike that. The ending has no clearly defined pairing. 3. The protagonist, who is the top, isn't a loyal puppy or a doting mom. His gentleness is just a facade; he's dark inside. This is important. 4. The author knows nothing about football. My knowledge comes from the anime, so please be gentle when correcting mistakes. Theme: Love at first sight? Love that grows over time?
