Tuna Mayonnaise!

[Who does Xiao Jing like best?]

Dogunagi Jing, sporting a head of messy hair: Flying Fish!!! (Big brother!)

-

In Xiao Jing’s eyes, his big brother is the greatest person in the world. Naturally, he wants to become just like him.

So when his mother asked where he wanted to go to middle school, Xiao Jing chose without hesitation: Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College.

But his parents disagreed, and his big brother was strongly opposed too.

Xiao Jing: Bonito flakes!!!

I’m mad. Big brother, figure out why yourself.

Inumaki Toge has a younger brother, Inumaki Jing, who is five years younger than him.

Unlike Toge, his little brother is completely ordinary.

Inumaki Toge: Salmon! (Awesome!)

But lately, Inumaki Toge, now a second-year at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College and a semi-grade 1 sorcerer, has run into a problem.

The last time he was this troubled was the time before. (×)

*

While other kids his age were saying “Mama” and “Papa,” little Xiao Jing sat on a rocking horse, looked at Inumaki Toge, and said his first word: “Kelp.”

Inumaki Toge: !

Bonito flakes! (You can’t!)

That was the first problem.

*

When Xiao Jing was six and starting kindergarten, Inumaki Toge worried that his little brother, who spoke rice-ball language, would be bullied. So he gave himself a cool, spiky-haired makeover.

But one day, he saw Xiao Jing brushing his teeth obediently in front of the mirror, then giving himself the exact same hairstyle.

Inumaki Toge: !!

Pollock roe! (Be on your guard!)

That was the second problem.

*

And the latest problem was that Inumaki Toge, now a big brother with neat, straight hair, heard from their mother that Xiao Jing wanted to attend Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College.

Inumaki Toge: !!!

Tuna mayo! (Absolutely not!)

-

To change Xiao Jing’s mind, Inumaki Toge even took time off to show his little brother around the school.

At first, Xiao Jing was dead set on attending Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. But then he saw...

*

“Charge like a raging fire!”

Xiao Jing: !

“Your odds of success are only... 23.7%.”

Xiao Jing: !!

“Looks like you can’t see anymore. ^_^”

Xiao Jing: !!!

Just like Big Brother!!!!

*

After the tour, before Inumaki Toge could ask him anything, he saw his little brother’s eyes shining brightly.

Inumaki Toge: K-Kelp?
