"They all say my bloodline is filthy, and that all I deserve is to be a bullied 'dog.'"
"But there are times when they take pity on me and treat me like a priceless treasure."
Jin Chao still remembers who he used to be.
He was born among the abundant, yet unlike the other Borisin, he was powerful and vicious. His bewitchingly beautiful face was his most distinctive feature.
Like a delicate flower, trembling on the verge of collapse.
His gentle nature ensured that no one would care for him. Through the long years, all he remembered were the times he had been brutalized.
Burning fingertips brushed over his skin. The Borisin fastened shackles around him, and mud stained the pure white flower.
Nothing belonged to him anymore.
Not even himself.
Summer was an especially cruel season for Jin Chao. People were more likely to feel intense emotions then.
His slender, fragile neck was covered in red marks. He crawled on his knees like a tamed "dog."
"Look at him. He's so much like one."
"Come on, let me hear more sounds."
More laughter. He was numb to it, long since used to it. Then someone took away his ability to breathe, and as it happened over and over, he lost consciousness.
He thought about it for a long time, but could never understand why his life had to be like this.

A chance encounter gave Jin Chao the ability to control people with Gu magic. After enduring oppression for so long, the past and present became impossible to reconcile.
Long, thick black hair hid the feverish madness in his eyes. A sickly blush spread across his pale cheeks.
With their positions reversed, he sat in the seat of power, looking down at the Borisin kneeling at his feet.
"Use the pose you're best at to please me."

"A Sigonian."
The young man, now free of the Borisin's control, rested his chin on his hand as he watched the grand auction before him.
He narrowed his eyes. Something about it seemed familiar.
The prolonged use of Gu magic sometimes made him wild and sometimes lucid. The deeper his skill became, the more this trait intensified.
After all, he wasn't like other Gu practitioners.
The greedy, watchful gazes around him disgusted him. His appearance and constitution always made him the center of attention.
Behind the stage, after dealing with them, Jin Chao felt much better. His scarlet eyes returned to their original color.
As he was getting ready to leave, he spotted the Sigonian. Perhaps it was because he was so close that Jin Chao finally understood why he seemed familiar.
It was because he saw a shadow of his past.
An inexplicable feeling of kinship made him save the boy before him. When he came to his senses, he cursed himself for sticking his nose into someone else's business.
"Thank you. You're a good person."
Looking at the innocent smile on the boy's youthful face, Jin Chao lowered his eyes. His fingers clenched, then relaxed. After a while, he gave the boy a mischievous smile.
"That's all it takes for you to think I'm a good person?"

Some time later, Jin Chao had forgotten all about that guy.
He hadn't completely freed him. He had only helped him get rid of a few obstacles.
At the time, Jin Chao had seen a winning look in the boy's eyes, like a gambler certain of victory.
They met again at a company banquet. This time, Jin Chao had actually received an invitation.
At the center of the room, the executive known as "Aventurine" held a wineglass and chatted with the guests.
At the glittering banquet, beneath dazzling lights, their eyes met at the same time. Jin Chao saw the smile in the other's eyes deepen. The man silently mouthed to him:
"I found you."
A few things to know before reading:
The protagonist is not sexually inexperienced, not sexually inexperienced, not sexually inexperienced! (It was all forced.) The pairing is with Aventurine, and the story leans toward mutual salvation.
That certain point refers to erotic content. This is not a typical everyone-falls-for-the-protagonist story. The protagonist has maximum charm and an alluring constitution that easily attracts people.
OOC warning. The author is a hopeless romantic who likes writing strange things.
