Revising...
Zhongli knows all too well what it’s like to have the same name as the Geo Archon, the Lord of Rock, while walking among mortals. His close friends are always teasing him about his name, and every now and then they even make wishes to him, praying to get rich.
As if! How could he possibly be rich? What does Morax being wealthy have to do with me, Zhongli?
Unable to withstand those guys anymore, Zhongli cosplayed as Zhongli at another convention. His uncanny resemblance drew plenty of people who wanted to take photos with him.
As Mr. Zhongli was planning to stroll around the Honkai: Star Rail theater next door, the first step of his leisurely journey through the mortal world was to fall into a manhole from who-knows-where.
After passing through the magical sewer, Zhongli was astonished to discover that it was really, really dark.
When he could see the light again, Zhongli first saw blue-and-white clouds, then came crashing down onto an altar with a whoosh.
Why did this feel so strangely familiar? Before he could even react, the people below shouted in unison:
"We welcome the great Aeon of [The Permanence]!"
Zhongli: A [Permanence] dragon? Me?
He instinctively reached up to touch the dragon horns on his head. The feel of them... Yes, they were real.
.
A few days before the summoning ritual, the Vidyadhara High Elder of the Yaoqing Xianzhou had a strange dream. In it, they placed comics with writing he couldn't understand, along with game consoles, by the altar.
Not long after, the sky changed.
As dark clouds gathered, the first dragon descended upon this place.
The High Elder then awoke from his dream, every detail of it deeply etched in his mind.
He believed that the Permanence had sent him the dream. So, while he was puzzling over where to find those things, he discovered that what he sought was lying inside a glittering golden trash can.
Though he had no idea where that trash can had come from, either.
Just as in the dream, the dragon of [The Permanence] had returned to their side. There was just something a little odd about the whole situation.
He wouldn't let them call him "sir," saying it was too distant. He told them to just call him "Daddy" instead, because that was more affectionate.
Hearing all the Vidyadhara dragons call him that, Zhongli nodded in satisfaction. He had already thought of a name to use here, too: Morax.
After all, someone else would be the one getting into trouble. Hehe.
?
Morax had just decided to step down and take a rest. While preparing to put the first part of his plan into action, he unexpectedly transmigrated to another world.
There, he saw a young man who looked just like he had when he was young. The other man stood on high, exuding the majesty of a god.
Morax was intrigued, but his interest soon vanished.
The young man's words were far from refined.
"Daddy, there's someone here who looks just like you."
A Vidyadhara spotted Morax standing among them. The young man above glanced at him, a flicker of surprise in his eyes, but quickly returned to normal.
"Children, this is your mother."
Though they didn't quite understand, all the Vidyadhara followed their dear old dad's words and called out to Morax in unison:
"Mom!"
Morax: ...
If his past self had seen this, he would have unleashed a Planet Befall.
No, wait. This is the Honkai: Star Rail theater. It should be a Rock Spear Charge.
1. Pairing: Morax. The protagonist's true identity will be revealed later. He's powerful, incredibly powerful.
2. He shares Zhongli's name, but the protagonist has a very lively personality. He's the top, a strict seme. A childish top is still a top. He's a dragon, and hooray for two dragons together (cough).
3. Slice-of-life style, a short story that won't be very long. OOC warning.
Theme: A peaceful and happy everyday life
