When Matsuda Gets Bound to the White Moonlight System

HagiMatsu pairing, with no pairings other than the official ones.

One second after the Ferris wheel exploded, Matsuda Jinpei learned from a mysterious System that the world he lived in was a manga.

And he had been bound to a White Moonlight System.

The System told him, "You'll compete with a transmigrator. You can only survive by earning more affection points from the audience and becoming the next generation's White Moonlight."

System: Understand?

Matsuda: Understood.

The next moment, time rewound and the world restarted. The competition began.

"Congratulations, Host! You have gained +9999 audience affection points. Your survival condition has been met. Have a wonderful life~"

System: ...Huh?????

The System stared in shock at the handsome, black-haired man before it. There was a hint of surprise in his eyes too, but it quickly gave way to calm. Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "So... I'm alive?"

System: B-bro, who are you?!

Matsuda Jinpei, the early-dead White Moonlight heartthrob in a certain beloved anime: fair-skinned, handsome, and long-legged. He sacrificed himself heroically to stop an explosion, dying in the era when the art was at its best and becoming the one fans could never get over.

Now he is reborn on the day he receives his acceptance letter from the police academy.

Transmigrator A: Hey, bro, you transmigrated into a body? You can't do that with an original character anymore. OOC gets you flagged now.

Matsuda Jinpei: (smokes) Thanks. I'll do my best.

Then he turns and asks the System: "What does OOC mean?"

System: ?

HagiMatsu pairing. The transmigrator competitors aren't necessarily bad people.

This should be a story about Matsuda and the police academy squad happily taking down the Organization together.

Theme: Beautiful things are always the most precious.
