[A blind, wicked, gorgeous blond bottom (formerly a college student from China)]
[A ruthless silver-haired big shot, Gin (the Soviet-hating Gin version)]
Blind characters and mind-reading are among the author's favorite tropes. Please understand if they're not your thing.
.
Fiano was rumored to have a refined appearance completely out of place in the Organization's underworld. They said he was blind, yet could see through people's hearts.
He was cunning and calculating, with a deep-seated scheming streak, and killed without blinking... There were no secrets in front of Fiano.
But??
.
Shiratori Kazuki: Thanks for asking. I'm in Japan and just got off a plane. Codename Fiano, formerly a young college student from China, now a codename-holding member of a transnational criminal organization.
Thanks to the world's dear old man, I was reborn and given a golden finger.
It lets me read the thoughts of anyone within a five-meter radius. If I touch someone, I can directly feel their emotions. That's how I've managed to survive for ten years in this lousy Organization.
The price was losing my eyesight.
Shiratori Kazuki: Thank you so much.
.
Shiratori Kazuki worked hard to get promoted, build a reputation, earn the Boss's trust, and make everyone fear him.
In reality, he used mind reading to make his colleagues take the blame and gave undercover agents a break.
Until one day, he was ordered to go on a mission with the Organization's top killer.
Just as Shiratori Kazuki thought he wouldn't be able to pull any tricks this time, he heard a remarkable word in the thoughts of the man beside him.
Shiratori Kazuki, thinking he must have misheard, grabbed Gin: Former Soviet Union?
The top killer, a long-haired, silver-haired man, shot him a fierce glance. "Looks like I can kill this one outright."
Shiratori Kazuki, now certain: I knew this Organization was doomed!
-
Gin insisted that he kept Fiano around purely because the man was useful.
His innocent appearance made it easy to win other people's trust, he was good in a fight and didn't need Gin to bail him out, and every time he went into action, he brought back plenty of classified information.
He always left just as Gin was about to lose his temper, then came back to pester him whenever Gin couldn't be bothered to respond. He was exceptionally wicked.
Until Gin discovered that Fiano knew his secret.
In a dark room, the silver-haired man suddenly turned on him, pressing a gun to the young man's forehead and pinning him hard against the table.
The shadow cast by his towering frame swallowed the blind man. Their golden and silver strands of hair fell across the tabletop, mingling together.
"When did you find out?"
His killing intent was sharp. The gun barrel pressed down until it left a red mark on the man's forehead.
The young man, unable to see, smiled into the murderous aura. The silver-haired man was reflected in his emerald-green eyes.
He reached out and grasped the killer's arm, feeling the murderous rage coming from him even more clearly, and smiled wider.
"All along..."
"What's wrong, Gin? Want to lock me up?"
.
After who knew how many times Fiano disobeyed orders and made Gin angry,
Gin grabbed the man's neck, pointed a gun at his head, and warned him.
Gin, fierce: I'm only going to say this one last time...
What the blind Shiratori Kazuki actually heard, since he couldn't see Gin's expression: (insults omitted) You want to die, going out like that? (insults omitted)
Conclusion: Gin is worried about me.
He promptly played meek and obedient, offered Gin an out, and gestured for him to move the gun away from his head.
Gin was displeased, but put the gun away.
The three Whiskey undercover agents who witnessed the whole thing: Fiano really is a strange person.
.
He had a homeland he could never return to, and had witnessed the death of the vessel of his faith.
He rationally sank into madness, never imagining that someone else would walk beside him.
Theme: Mind reading tells me you love me.
