When a Non-Scholarly Game Begins

"What do you think this world would look like if it were truly real?"

Someone once asked Bei Yuhe this question in a dream. At the time, he thought of it all as just a dream. Then he died during that surgery. No one grieved for him. All they cared about was the money he left behind.

At the moment his soul was about to be erased, he saw a boy in black standing tall in the rain. The raindrops seemed unable to touch him. He heard the boy whisper, "We'll meet again in another world, big brother."

When he opened his eyes again, he discovered that he had been reborn in the world of Detective Conan. No, wait. This world didn't seem all that logical.

When he returned to Beika Town, the strange neighbor and the constant stream of strange events made Bei Yuhe wonder whether this really was Detective Conan, or some kind of bizarre world.

Strange tales began to emerge in Beika Town, along with bizarre deaths and a string of other stories, all beginning after that day. No matter how much they investigated, they couldn't find a single clue.

"Loading player, Bei Yuhe."

"The game is about to begin. Welcome to the Lost Paradise."

This is a carnival for villains. As people pursue the truth, they gradually lose their way, while the gloom hanging over the town grows ever deeper.

A visitor from another world raises the curtain on the play.

And the end of the world must come because of him, too.

Do not offer your soul to a demon. Demons wearing the skin of gods are wantonly destroying everything that belongs to humanity.

But human pride and the human soul will never submit to demons. Amid thorns and raging flames, humanity is reborn from the ashes.

"And our souls are gradually resonating, moving toward new life as the first shoots of spring emerge."

[Reading Guide]

1. This is a pure romance featuring two male leads as a couple. Both are original characters, childhood friends growing up together. The story is a slow burn, with mutual devotion and a silly, sweet tone.

2. OOC warning. The male lead has a secret identity. He's doted on by everyone, but there are no other romantic entanglements, just one-sided crushes.

3. Includes original ideas and settings. A little fantasy magic in the Detective Conan world, for a shocking twist (not really).

4. It gets somewhat dark. The male lead is rational and clear-headed, not a saint, and maybe even a villain. The protagonist is trying hard to be smart (not really).

Theme: "Roses bloom in romance, and the soul lives on forever"
