Western Crossover: My Years as the Justice League’s Financial Advisor

Carlisle, Silicon Valley's youngest CEO, took the rich promises made by Gotham's wealthiest man and the impossible KPIs on his back, then resolutely jumped ship to Wayne Enterprises. There, he became the solo CEO of a new company with not a single employee. The only reason was that the Gotham fool who announced an investment in the Justice League (crossed out) Gotham's richest man had promised Carlisle he could attend the post-battle debrief at the Watchtower on his behalf. Everyone knows Gotham is full of Batman fanboys and twisted Batman fanboys! And Carlisle, as luck would have it, was born and raised in Gotham. What's the big deal about paying Superman's property-damage bill for “fighting aliens once, smashing two satellites, and incidentally dropping space junk on the mansions in the rich neighborhood”? He'd do anything to meet Batman! And so... #Joker kidnaps the CEO in a rage and livestreams evidence of rigged Arkham admissions# #Riddler publicly roasts the game's idiotic riddles and joins the development team in person# #Luthor's crimes exposed. He rages that the Batphone has a backdoor for Superman, and Carlisle gets accused of wiretapping# #Cockroaches found in a Flash Burger. Captain Cold freezes a whole block to catch the culprit and clear his name of commercial sabotage# After fleecing one supervillain after another, Carlisle finally became the Justice League's “Lifetime Honorary Financial Advisor.” Facing the world's media, he spoke passionately: “I can stand here beside my spiritual mentor today only because the evil capitalist Mr. Bruce once dangled a huge, round carrot in front of me. I showed up every day for a whole year. I even spent Christmas tied to a clock tower by the Joker, who threatened to raise Batman's draw rate! But fortunately, I never gave in. I did it!” Thunderous applause filled the room. In the audience, Batman, aka the evil capitalist Bruce, clapped along as the whole League looked at him with knowing amusement. His hands slowly went stiff. Everyone was wondering when Carlisle would finally realize that his spiritual mentor, Mr. Batman, and the Wayne who lived in his head as a tiny doll to stab, exploiting his employees without limits, were the same person. 1. A light comedy, or maybe just a comedy. Logic goes out the window, things are often absurd, and the style is a bit like LEGO. 2. Pairing: Bruce. 3. The protagonist imagines plenty of Batman/Bruce/Batman scenarios, and various bystanders also ship superhero couples. Theme: Even when your goal seems difficult, perseverance will eventually lead to success.
