How to Woo a Yato Boss

Yunhai was a member of the Yatu clan, and a pretty one at that.

Most of the Yatu were big and burly. The occasional one who looked halfway decent counted as a lucky draw, so she had her parents, whether they were alive or dead, to thank for winning an ultra-rare jackpot.

She had always thought it would be hard to find a male among her own people who could make her blood race, until she was picked up by an older brother named A Fu Tu and brought to the Seventh Division of the Harusame. There, she met their young division captain.

Orange hair, blue eyes, delicate features. He hadn't grown into his looks yet, but you could already glimpse the peerless beauty he would become.

Some instinct etched into her DNA kicked in. Staring fixedly at the young captain, she said to her older brother:

Yunhai: "My blood is screaming at me to hurry up and eat this guy."

Young Captain: "?"

Older Brother: "Say it in a way a Yatu can understand."

Yunhai: "Spring has come, all things are waking, and it's time for the annual breeding season."

Young Captain: "?"

Older Brother: "Seriously, say it in a way a Yatu can understand."

Yunhai: "I'm in love. The kind of love that makes me want to kill him."

Older Brother: "You're a Yatu, not a praying mantis..."

Yunhai: "That doesn't matter. Anyway, starting today, I'm going to forcefully... pursue the young captain."

Older Brother: "You mean force yourself on him, right!? Honestly, if you actually pull it off, I'll give you my vice-captain position."

And then she really did force her way into the young captain's heart.

As for the vice-captain position, her older brother could keep it. She didn't want to waste her precious time dealing with miscellaneous work.

Theme: Take love seriously.
