The Zoldyck Family’s Eldest Daughter

[The pairing is with Kurapika.

He doesn't appear in the blurb, but he really is the male lead. A childhood-to-adulthood romance.]

The Tarui family is a clan of assassins. She has five elders above her and five younger brothers below her, placing her right in the middle in a perfectly balanced position.

As the eldest daughter of the family, she is often worried about its future.

Her eldest younger brother is every bit as controlling and money-loving as she is. He resents the fact that she was born one minute before him, and though he is full of resentment toward her, he does care about the family's future. He's a little brother with a serious sister complex.

Her second younger brother is a clever, quick-witted shut-in. Rather than take on missions and make money, he prefers to stay home playing video games and watching anime. He doesn't care much about the family, and he's a promising young man who will never slim down.

Her third younger brother is the most gifted child in the family. He's adorable and a formidable fighter, and has been chosen as the next family head. Unfortunately, he seems to prefer spending time with his little companion over inheriting the family business.

Her fourth younger brother is a pretty boy who shares a body with some stranger from who knows where. He isn't interested in the family, but he seems rather interested in his third older brother.

Her fifth younger brother is another pretty boy. He cares about the family well enough, but seems even more concerned about his third older brother.

Watching her brothers become more and more unreliable, and even start acting out a tale of "he runs, she chases, and he can't escape," she decides that if she doesn't work harder, this family is doomed.

So she has no choice but to bravely step forward and say:

"How about I become the family head?"

Theme: I will protect this family.
