Yokohama Mail Service

For various reasons, Kashimura Kiyomi left her hometown and moved to Yokohama, where she opened a courier company specializing in dangerous cargo.

It's a high-risk line of work, so her employees kept coming and going. Some went to report to the River of Three Crossings, while others quit to get away from the courier business.

Only one employee, named Oda Sakunosuke, worked diligently alongside her. As Oda put it, as long as the two of them were there, no delivery was impossible.

Kashimura Kiyomi was deeply moved, and began to feel something she could only describe as trust and affection for this employee. As they spent more time together, those feelings gradually grew, until one day she resolved to confess how she felt about Oda.

To avoid making Oda worry that his boss was abusing her authority to get involved with him, she spent the whole night carefully choosing her words and decided to have a proper talk with him.

But on the day she was going to confess, Oda went missing.

That evening, he handed in his resignation, saying he was planning to join the Mafia.

Kashimura Kiyomi: "..."

Kashimura Kiyomi went straight to his house and demanded to know why.

Oda Sakunosuke: "I was afraid I'd drag you into trouble."

What trouble? What company doing business in the Port would be afraid of getting dragged into trouble!
