[Bungo Stray Dogs] Has Mrs. Mori Divorced Yet?

Her husband was a top student in the medical department at Tokyo University. After graduating, he went straight to the front lines as a military doctor.

Before he went to war, Chiyo thought her husband was simply a strange, handsome young man.

After he returned from the war, Chiyo thought her husband was a handsome young man with something wrong with his head.

That was because he turned down offers from all the major hospitals and opened a rather unconventional little clinic in Yokohama.

But that was nothing. When he became the personal physician to the leader of a local criminal organization, then killed the leader and took over, Chiyo decided he really was insane.

This was what she told her husband:

"I don't want to go to prison just because my husband is the leader of some strange organization. Maybe we should get a divorce."

"Darling, what are you talking about?"

Hearing her say this, the man didn't get angry. He put an arm around her shoulders, his smile just right, warm and tender as always.

"Aren't you the leader of an illegal organization too?"

Chiyo thought about the members of her organization: a detective whose deductions always ended in someone dying, a collector who liked to collect people with supernatural abilities, a stray dog with no heart and his sister, a mystery novelist and his friend...

She sighed softly and looked up at her gentle-faced husband with her phoenix eyes.

"If you don't want a divorce, you can just say so. But don't joke around like that. After all..."

"You have plenty of ways to keep me from leaving."

The not-so-normal daily life of a married couple.
