Atobe Wants Me to Accept His Confession

[The blonde cover art is a bonus image; in the story, she has dark hair.]

Yayoi Yoshida had a crush on her beloved idol for three whole years.

He was both student council president and tennis club captain, a dazzling, confident, and elegant person who drew every eye.

It's only natural to like someone talented and handsome.

Yayoi Yoshida, who was pessimistic about intimate relationships, was easy to please.

She only had to watch him from nearby, but not too close. Even if that was all she could do, it gave her the motivation to become a better person, and that was enough.

As long as nothing unexpected happened.

"What should I do if the person I like confesses to me...? Oh, I'll go ask Haru instead."

Unable to answer right away, Yayoi panicked and fled home. In the end, she decided to ask her runaway younger brother for advice.

He realized he had fallen in love one weekend after practice.

Her light-colored hair shimmered with brilliant hues as it drifted in the water. She looked different from how she did every day, as if a fairy tale had come to life.

With a can-do attitude, he immediately decided to confess to her.

But he never expected her to react as if she were frightened, then stay away from school for several days after his confession.

When they met again, she was hiding behind a black-haired boy, her eyes darting around.

"I won't accept being rejected this way."

Before either of the two in front of him could speak, he, who had always been confident in his ability to read people, spoke with a hint of panic he hadn't noticed in himself.

"Disappearing into sea foam isn't a glamorous ending. I won't allow it."

"Mm-hmm, I know. I love you too."
