After Quitting as a God, I Was Worshiped by a Divine Son

Inaba Mayumi opened the dessert shop she had always dreamed of.

She no longer had to stifle herself to maintain an image, was no longer surrounded everywhere she went by people with a stake in her, and no longer had to give up her own name.

Freed from the shackles of being known as "Kura Inadama no Mikoto," she felt as though she'd become a brighter, more cheerful person.

Then one day, she saw a handsome customer who often visited her shop performing some kind of performance art at the air.

All in all, she was pretty lost about how the world worked now.

After all, even if it was performance art, flying through the air without any help was still beyond her understanding of science.

After that day, this regular customer seemed to spend more and more time in the shop.

The good news was that daily sales were impressive.

But the number of customers who came with malicious intent for reasons she couldn't fathom was increasing too. Still, that probably had nothing to do with an ordinary person like her.

The Six-Eyed Divine Child discovered a peculiar dessert shop.

The first and most important thing was that the desserts made by the kind shopkeeper were delicious. The second was that they contained an enormous amount of energy.

They could help jujutsu sorcerers quickly recover the energy spent using their techniques, as well as heal injuries of any severity.

The problem was that this energy worked on cursed spirits, too.

Not only could it restore them, the cursed spirits that appeared near the shop had even ranked up.

It felt like the anthropomorphic form of the Shikon Jewel. Not sure, better keep watching.

After visiting often enough to confirm that the shopkeeper was a good person, the Six-Eyed Divine Child decided to pretend he knew nothing about it.

Though he'd seen her talk her way into sending away the people dispatched by the higher-ups in just a few words, and she often chatted with a flying doll.

But she just seemed like a grown-up magical girl, right?

"Oh, divine one, divine one, please hear my wish..."

"Denied. You can have at most three cakes a day."
