[Western Crossover] Lex Luthor Refuses to Follow the Plot

[The main story is complete. The extras, which are basically a second volume, are updating right now!] When Lex Luthor first transmigrated, he had no idea who he was or what kind of world he had landed in, not until the irreversible tracks of fate boxed them into a narrow future. He refused to bow to “irresistible forces.” He would not even lower his head. So, in this lonely world where only he was aware of “fate” and “the plot,” he fought against the world alone. His long, cold road through the night would eventually come to an end. Everyone struggling against the lives they had been dealt would find one another in time. Clark, who had grown up with him, met Lex on the far side of death through sheer willpower and determination. The Justice Lord, betrayed by “justice,” salvaged the one chance among countless parallel worlds to set everything right. The Crime Syndicate, a crew of seasoned villains, broke into the main universe and ran straight into Lex's line of fire. The “all-knowing, all-powerful idol” of Red Son finally came down to earth and returned to the human condition... At the end of the world, we will understand that humanity's greatness lies in its smallness, in accomplishing the grandest of tasks with our humble selves. Even if I only make a beginning, someone will help me write the perfect ending. Lex believed this with all his heart. (That's the pitch.) Don't believe a word of it, hahaha! This is actually a lighthearted, feel-good quick transmigration fic with plenty of fun moments, featuring a transmigrated Lex standing up to his villain label. Click to see Lex and his childhood friend Clark constantly messing with each other; Lex openly spoiling little Kon-El and raising him like a kid; and the sunny, cheerful, positive version of Luthor turning the worldviews of various parallel universes upside down. Most importantly, I think the Red Son arc is the one I wrote with the best flow (hehe). Give it a look, just one look at the Red Son arc. Oh, and remember to check the warnings. First version of the blurb: (The blurb I wrote while working on my thesis) The full title is: If You Insist on Making Me the Goddess of Childbirth, Lex, Then There Was No Point in Being Reborn in Another World I wanted to write about someone desperately trying to live as himself, only to be held back by the threads of fate. It was supposed to be a little angsty, an idea born from thesis-related suffering. Warning: Around chapter forty, some Eastern fantasy elements will suddenly appear. They're related to the protagonist's background. I only recently realized that a lot of readers might not be able to handle such a sudden shift (). Anyway, I'm sorry! I bow to all the readers I blindsided (not really). I did consider changing it, but... well... writing this out of love... I just wanted a little fantasy... Anyway, sorry! (Bows.) Theme: Never give up on changing your fate
