[Western Crossover] How Did This Turn into Batkid Fiction?

First, I transmigrated. Second, my current biological dad is Batman. And finally, God told me that if I really couldn't accept this ridiculous setup, I could just treat him as my dad and forget about that whole Batman business. We'd been father and daughter in our past lives, so there was no need to nervously start getting along as strangers.

Me: "Darling, if you put it that way, I believe you."

God: "Come on, we're practically family. You can count on it. I was there when you swore you'd be your parents' child again in your next life. So go ahead without a worry. Even if he's reincarnated as a new person, he still couldn't escape your cu, "

After smacking the tactless god out of sight, I calmly packed my bags and headed to Gotham. Whether he was my dad or not didn't really matter. I was mostly curious about what it felt like to be a Batkid.

Bruce's eyelid had been twitching lately. He thought it was just a muscle spasm from not getting enough rest, but it turned out that sometimes you really do have to believe in the supernatural.

"You're saying," he said, feeling as if his brain had been too sleep-deprived to process it. He stared blankly at the report in his hand. "I have another child? My biological child?"

Lucius: "She's a ten-year-old girl who grew up in an orphanage. I've heard she's well-behaved. Do you want to bring her home and raise her?"

"...Bring her home."

Also known as: "My Own Daughter Refuses to Do the Angsty, Bitter Love-Hate Thing," "Can Stubbornness Be Inherited Genetically?" "More Wayne Kid Than Batkid," and "I Love You, But I Really Am Rebellious to the Bone."

A sweet, adorable, thoughtful little darling, but with stubbornness and defiance passed down through the family. Click to see Mr. Wayne seemingly use every ounce of his strength to keep from laughing in exasperation at his own child.

Heroine: "So, did I take Damian's place in the family?"

God: "...? Damian isn't as good at getting on people's nerves as you are. Once Damian acknowledges someone's strength and sound reasoning, he'll cooperate. You, on the other hand, will admit someone is right and then leap up to punch them in the knees, "

Heroine (clapping her hands): "Got it. I'm one of a kind."

God (flying back after being hit, then flying back on his own): "...Fine. Whatever makes you happy."

This story is silly, lighthearted, brainless, and cheerful. I don't want to think too hard anymore. It's pure comedy, a relaxing read.

"Kami" is a Japanese pronunciation of the word for god. The story gives the heroine a god to act as a straight man and a golden finger who can magically solve problems, making her practically invincible.

Theme: Relax. This world loves you.
