AK Speedrun Guide to Gotham [Western Crossover]

[The later chapters went on hiatus and aren't very good, so please buy with caution]

The AK Knight Simulator is now available for preorder! Powered by the cutting-edge Virtual 3 Engine, experience all kinds of fun weapons used by Gotham's vigilante. Soar through the skies above this city of sin and take in its one-of-a-kind scenery, or tear through the streets of Gotham in the Batmobile, taking on crime, working with allies, and matching wits with notorious criminals. The game will give players the most authentic Gotham experience!

This absurd blaze of vengeance came to an end with the Knight's fall. On this night, Gotham's most terrifying legend revealed his face, while evil alone remained the city's unchanging color in the dark.

But none of this had the slightest thing to do with Jason. After all, who could have guessed that someone would walk out the door, black out, then wake up to find they'd broken through the walls between worlds and been bound to a System called AK Knight Simulator?

Most importantly...

AK Knight: ...

AK Knight: Why am I controlling the old Bat?

Well, what's done is done. Better set a few small goals.

For example, rob that Penguin's Iceberg Lounge.

And maybe beat the stuffing out of that big Bat.

Bruce once thought he would be trapped forever in that blood-red night. The shrill laughter and the little bird with broken wings would haunt his nightmares forever, too.

Until a red jay that had no business existing there fell into his hands and gave him a vicious peck.

Old Bat Dad: ...

Well, guess he'd better raise it.

1. The main storyline follows the BvS setup. You don't need to have seen it to enjoy this, but because of my personal preferences, I'll also borrow elements from New 52 and Old 52 for the parallel worlds.

2. The one who died was Dick. In the BvS continuity, Bruce only adopted him. This is more or less the story of a lonely Jason and a lonely Batman finding comfort in each other.

3. Jason's characterization is based on the game where he drives a tank and takes over Gotham in one night. He's very different from the Red Hood in the main universe.

4. The Batfamily will gradually expand later on. Jason has no CP, and the other characters' pairings will generally follow their canon relationships. Also, apologies in advance for any OOC moments (tears).

Here's a neighboring story available for preorder. If it catches your interest, please add it to your collection. Arigato!

How Can Gudako Not Be a Bat Kid?

The savior who had saved the world twice could finally retire. Ritsuka happily began planning her wonderful future.

But on the second day of her peaceful retirement, a handsome black-haired, blue-eyed man showed up at her door, claiming to be her biological father.

Orange-haired, golden-eyed Gudako: "Huh?"

The chances of Shirou Emiya being my dad are higher than this!

The good news: He really was her father, a famously useless beauty in Gotham City, worth hundreds of billions.

The bad news: He had four sons, three adopted and one biological. One of the adopted sons was already dead, so going into that household would be like stepping straight into a cutthroat rich-family drama.

Gudako followed her dad home, brimming with confidence: Could any family drama be worse than saving the world?

After experiencing the Batfamily's special brand of daddy issues, Gudako: Let me go! I want to go back to Chaldea and chop trees!

1. This story is also known as The Batfamily's Meals Today. It's an everyday-life story where everyone is like an onion, with secret identities layered one on top of another. Apologies in advance for any OOC moments.

2. You ask which timeline this is? Don't ask. It came about after SBP smashed the Source Wall, obviously. DC and Mushroom both love retconning things, so it's perfectly reasonable for me to make stuff up in the setting (says she, defiantly).

3. The CP hasn't been decided yet. I'll note it in the blurb once it has.

4. So, can someone please save Ritsuka? (laughs)

Theme: Love is the bond that holds a family together
