I Woke Up and Found Myself Under Contract

Yu Li, Lord of the Divine Beasts, awakens from five thousand years of slumber to discover that he has somehow acquired a contract partner: a good-for-nothing who is not yet twenty, has abysmal potential, completely severed meridians, and supposedly won't live past twenty!

This contract has to be dissolved. How could the dignified Lord of the Divine Beasts possibly raise a child?!

But when he sees the frail child, pale as a sheet and coughing three times with every step, looking at him with stubborn, red-rimmed eyes and saying, "You don't have to worry about me. I only have a few years left anyway," Yu Li finds he can't quite bring himself to be cruel.

Won't live to twenty? He has plenty of rare treasures from heaven and earth. Not only can he keep the child alive to twenty, he has enough to see him through two thousand years!

Abysmal potential and severed meridians? Ever heard of cleansing the marrow and reshaping the body? If all else fails, he can even send the child to be reborn. There's no way he can't find him a good body!

After all the effort it takes to raise the child, Yu Li barely gets to see him grown before he is forced back into slumber. When he wakes again, the once-frail little sprout has become the elegant, aloof Immortal Lord Linyuan, head of the Hundred Clans and supreme leader of the Immortal Sects.

Yu Li wants to tease him, so he gazes at him with innocent eyes and says playfully, "Which sect does this young immortal belong to? How come I've never seen you before?"

Before he can finish speaking, a scorching kiss descends, filled with the fierce intent to swallow him whole. "I'm your husband!"

Yu Li: "What?!"

Wait! This isn't how the story is supposed to go! The little brat's getting out of hand! Who taught you all this nonsense?

At last, a hint of a smile appears on the immortal lord's face. His jade-like fingers trace Yu Li's lips, pressing hard as he says, "We made a blood pact, which is above a marriage pact. That means we've belonged to each other all along."
