The Film Emperor's Pet Wolfdog

Movie Emperor Ji takes a role to repay a favor. He fails to mentor the newcomer, but ends up with a kid following him around instead. The kid is supposedly his fan, beautiful as an angel. His eyes are soft and dewy as he gazes at Ji, and he follows him everywhere like a little tail, constantly calling him "Big Brother." The kid risks serious injury to shield him from a falling crate; The kid looks at him with innocent eyes and asks him to help apply medicine; The kid waits for over six hours in the bitter winter wind just to celebrate his birthday with him... When Ji Shichu realizes the kid's feelings for him have crossed a line, he disappears without a second thought, figuring the kid will get over this passing infatuation before long. But on a pouring rainy night, the kid, who has been waiting for days, corners him at his door. The kid's hands tremble as he holds him, afraid to squeeze too hard in case he hurts him, but afraid to loosen his grip in case he runs away. "I met you when I was eight, lost you when I was ten, liked you when I was thirteen, and fell in love with you when I was eighteen. This year, I'm twenty-three." The kid's voice cracks, his eyes bloodshot. "You don't have to accept me, but how can you... how can you not believe how I feel about you?" "I love you so much it hurts!" "Big Brother..." The kid slides helplessly to the ground, eyes closed as he reverently kisses the back of Ji's hand. His voice is unbearably hoarse. "Could you love me too?" Ji Shichu is dazed. So love really can burn so fiercely that it makes your heart ache. Theme: A love that lasts until death
