Be a Good Person or Die

After the great demon Shen Qingling self-destructs, he unexpectedly ends up in a future society and is forced to bind himself to a "Good Person System."

It requires him to be a good person and collect affection points, or he'll have to relive his most painful death countless times.

System: Dear Host, I suggest singing and dancing your way to stardom. It's easy for a celebrity to collect people's favor.

Demon, slayer of a hundred thousand demons, burner of a thousand cities, killer without batting an eye, Lord: ...

He goes straight for the most dangerous extermination mission, one said to have an extremely high fatality rate.

Seeing several mission-takers on the verge of death after being trapped by a single mutated spider, he sneers: Useless!

System: Please get along with others and be a good person, Host.

Shen Qingling: ...Don't worry, I'm here to save you!

When some idiots alert a white tiger, leaving everyone trapped in a cave, Shen Qingling can't help sneering: Humans are so stupid!

System: Please, Host...

Shen Qingling: Go on ahead. I'll cover you!

When some weak humans ask him to trade a spirit herb to save the person they love, Shen Qingling stuffs the item into the little girl's arms before the System can even speak.

Shen Qingling: We're all on missions. We should help each other.

System: ...Good, you can answer before I even ask now.

Later, his affection points skyrocket, and he becomes the ideal beloved of countless people.

One of his fans finally gets the chance to meet her idol, but the moment she sees him, his overwhelming aura of blood and killing intent scares her into tears.

System: Host, please comfort her right away. You need to be a good person.

Shen Qingling says helplessly: I don't know how to comfort people. How about... I kill a monster for you? Please stop crying.

The little girl bursts into even louder tears.

Shen Qingling: ...

Theme: Be a good person and stay hopeful.
