Wu Jingshuo fights to escape, and in the struggle, loses the local specialties he meant to send to the child. Wu Jingshuo is furious after losing the gifts and getting blamed. But when he thinks of his lovely retirement, he swallows his anger. He buys another batch and sends it off. The child he raised is a promising one: well-behaved from a young age, a good cook, and accepted into the most prestigious sect nearby. He grows into a principled, free-spirited gentleman and becomes the most formidable Immortal Venerable of his generation. Wu Jingshuo is pleased to see it. 3. The righteous path has suffered under the Demon Lord for too long. The Demon Lord is depraved and bloodthirsty, killing people and stealing their treasures, slaughtering countless living beings, and even demanding male bedchambers from the righteous sects.
