When a Playmate Samoyed Meets a German Shepherd

A goofy, happy-go-lucky Samoyed who praises everyone x a German Shepherd who's all bark and secretly possessive [Please bookmark my upcoming story, After I Could Hear My Pet Rabbit's Thoughts~ Blurb at the bottom] Yele is an innocent, cheerful little spirit whose true form is a "smiling angel" Samoyed. After sneaking into a police dog training center and becoming a companion dog, Yele had food, drink, and a steady job. He had nothing to worry about and was happy every day. His only problem was that his "clients" always wanted to keep playing with him after his shift ended. One day, an injured German Shepherd arrived at the center. Rumor had it he was strange and vicious, and even the beautiful Shetland Sheepdog next door had nearly been frightened to tears by him. And Yele was about to become this German Shepherd's new companion dog! After hearing the rumors, he made a bet with the Shetland Sheepdog: the German Shepherd wouldn't kick him out. The loser would have to tell the whole center about their bet and admit defeat. With his reputation and the honor of being the center's "Number One Companion Dog" on the line, Yele gave it his all while keeping the German Shepherd company: At mealtimes, he offered him sashimi. When it was time to sing, he soothed him to sleep and helped him recover. When it was time for grooming, he offered free massages as a little doggy masseur. When it was time to play with toys, he helped him get some exercise. Yele also acted as a praise machine, constantly complimenting him and caring for the German Shepherd's mental health in every way. He was as attentive as could be. At last, the German Shepherd's injury healed, the two dogs had formed a good bond, and Yele hadn't been kicked out. He let out a long sigh of relief. His title as the center's Number One Companion Dog was safe. But what was with this German Shepherd? Why was he clinging to Yele and refusing to let him clock out, just like his previous clients? And another thing! Yele was shocked: How did you suddenly turn into a spirit? And such a huge one, too! The mighty German Shepherd scooped Yele into his arms. "I'm taking this companion dog with me." From the top's perspective: Desi was a spirit who had cultivated successfully for many years. His true form was a German Shepherd, and he worked as an officer in the Bureau of Nonhumans, which was basically the police force of the spirit world. After a mission, Desi was gravely injured and had no choice but to revert to his original form. His teammates simply sent him to a police dog training center to hide him, in case the mission target sought revenge. Who knew that even healing up at the center wouldn't be peaceful? The humans were afraid he'd get depressed, so they kept sending companion dogs over. They all looked nice enough, but their auras were muddy and made him uncomfortable. In the end, he drove them all away. Desi was cold and dismissive: What are companion dogs? I don't need one. Until he met Yele: ...This Samoyed seems different? Yele really was different from the other companion dogs. He had the appearance of a "smiling angel," pure, clean, beautiful white fur, springy pink ears, a moist nose, and a pair of sparkling, almond-shaped amber eyes. He was also very good at acting cute. He would lie down and ask pitifully if he could stay. Desi went from disliking companion dogs to gradually accepting Yele. After all, who could resist a little Samoyed who knew how to act cute, had a sweet way of speaking, and only had eyes for you? Desi thought that once he recovered, he could simply take this little spirit away from the police dog training center. Yes, he'd realized long ago that this Samoyed was a little spirit. After much waiting, Desi's injury was finally almost healed. Just as he was about to tell Yele he wanted to take him away, Yele suddenly disappeared for an entire day. When he came back, he smelled like another dog. Desi was shocked. "Where did you go? Do you have another dog?!" Yele replied innocently, "I went to work." Our job as companion dogs is to keep everyone company and play with them~ Only then did Desi realize how popular his Yeye was. He had more rivals than he could count, and Desi could only grit his teeth and think to himself: So what if I have rivals? I'm claiming this "smiling angel" all for myself! P.S. Little Samoyed spirit x mighty German Shepherd spirit 1. Both the top and bottom are spirits. They meet in their original forms (as dogs) at first, and later take human form (roughly 60/40). 2. The companion dogs in this story are there to help police dogs relax and unwind. They are not anyone's playthings or anything like that. 3. This is a brainless, sweet little story!!! The setting serves the plot. Please forgive anything that doesn't match reality. (Entirely fictional. Readers who insist on rigorous research, beware.) 4. Please, please check out my upcoming story! Upcoming story: After I Could Hear My Pet Rabbit's Thoughts "What's it like to hear what a rabbit is thinking?" The day Xiao Hengyi lost his chance at a guaranteed postgraduate recommendation, he found a lop-eared rabbit. It had yellow fur, long ears, and was only as big as his palm. It had fainted in his hand, so he temporarily brought it home. That evening, as Xiao Hengyi drank alone in low spirits, the rabbit woke up and studied him for a while. Then it suddenly bumped him with its fluffy chest. A voice sounded in his ear: Human, you can cry into the rabbit's chest! Xiao Hengyi: ...? He stared at the yellow rabbit's chest, mixed with white fluff, and wondered if he'd hallucinated from drinking fake liquor. * Ever since Xiao Hengyi started hearing this rabbit's thoughts, he was forced to listen to it complain about him every day. For instance, the first time he fed it, the rabbit wiggled its three-part mouth and complained, "Disgusting. Looks like this human can't afford good hay. I'll leave tomorrow." Xiao Hengyi sat in the middle of the detached house with a yard that he'd bought outright, pondering silently as he switched to a new imported brand of hay. The rabbit was finally satisfied. After eating its fill, it lounged in its nest with its belly in the sun. "This isn't bad. I'll grudgingly stay for a few more days." But when it got caught sneaking fruit and the human put it back in its cage, the rabbit angrily raised one ear. "What an inconsiderate human! I'll escape tonight!" Xiao Hengyi: ... You ungrateful rabbit. I'll find you an owner tonight! . As luck would have it, a younger student who claimed to own the rabbit contacted him the very next day and asked for it back. Xiao Hengyi arranged to meet him. He watched as a yellow-haired younger student with two tufts of hair sticking up on his head came over in a fury and reached out. "Give me back my rabbit!" At the same time, a familiar voice spoke in his mind: "That inconsiderate human thinks he can keep this rabbit? Dream on!" Xiao Hengyi heard the familiar insults in his ear and looked at the cute but bad-tempered younger student in front of him. He calmly asked, "You say the rabbit belongs to you. Do you have any proof?" "A purchase record? Photos of the rabbit's furniture? Surely you have a picture together, at least?" Xu Rong: ...I don't have any. He was the rabbit himself. How could he have a photo with it? Xiao Hengyi deliberately said, "Then how can you prove the rabbit is yours and that you're not just trying to get one for free?" "...?" Xu Rong angrily raised his unruly tufts of hair. Ahhh! How dare you slander this rabbit! I'll bite you to death when I get home! P.S.
