Matsuda Jinpei Is Getting Socially Humiliated Again Today

Inspired by Idealist’s story. It’s so good, please go read it! Content warning: HagiMatsu pairing, misunderstandings and harassment, everyone-survives alternate universe *Second edit: I’m revising the story lately, so updates may appear sporadically. If you’re interested, you can read it again. Matsuda Jinpei prided himself on never having done anything bad in his life. After dying in the line of duty, he was bound to a strange System and told to put on a show for higher-dimensional observers. He hadn’t wanted to do it at first, but if acting could take him back in time to save Hagi, then... After a profound, cosmic-cat-level inner debate, Matsuda Jinpei slapped his thigh. “I’m in!” Only after Matsuda Jinpei agreed did the System add with a smile that it would randomly select outside help. As for who, that was classified for now. The missions arrived one after another, and Matsuda Jinpei suffered one humiliating death after another. The scripts were bizarre and unpredictable, and he was the only one getting harassed. But wait, why did his fellow police academy graduates somehow know about those scripts too? Get a grip, those things are fake! His classmates: Doesn’t matter. I’ll write my own angst. (Puts on sunglasses) Theme: We have to create a good life for ourselves
