Can the Sweet Romance Protagonist Really Escape a Precognitive Dream Through Science?

One day, I began getting caught up in prophetic dreams. The System told me that if I died in a dream, I'd really be dead. So in my dreams, I had to dodge all kinds of murder cases and make it through to daylight alive.

Then, during the day, I had to use what I learned in my dreams to quickly reason out the cases and solve them. Otherwise, I might die for all sorts of reasons too.

I couldn't understand why my life was so exhausting.

The System told me it was because I was the protagonist of a mystery novel. If I wanted to escape my situation, I had to shed the label attached to me.

I thought it over for a moment and decided to make myself the protagonist of a sweet romance.

I chose a handsome, curly-haired guy who often came to eat at the cafe near my house.

But no matter how I tried to win him over, he didn't seem interested. Just as I decided to set my sights on someone else, I caught him doing an illegal deal with a group of people in black.

Thinking they'd silence me, I was about to pack up and run. The next day, though, the handsome guy cornered me at the entrance to the detective agency.

Holding my back, I thought hard about what had gone wrong.

Maybe it was because I didn't know this curly-haired handsome guy had been reborn for a second run, and could even connect his phone to the real world.

Reader advisory:

OOC!

Mild horror

The entire police academy group survives! This is a sort of fix-it fic, but the group's careers and the dangers they encounter will be changed from the original!

The heroine is very slow to recognize her feelings. She always thought she was the type to give her body but not her heart! When Matsuda took her, she was still dazed and thought it was the last time before she died (enter at your own risk if this bothers you)

I'll add more if I think of anything
