Oikawa Runs Into His Crush, But No Matter How Hard He Tries, He Can’t Win

[The blurb isn't finished, but this is roughly the idea] [My friend said it has all the melodramatic tropes of an old-school romance, but I really do love the "run away while pregnant" trope, even though there's no baby involved (or does a volleyball count as one?)] [Cat Yuu's alternate timeline, where Cat Yuu is straight] - Thanks for asking. I just left a hotel after sleeping with my friend. What do I do? - Tokisei: It wasn't a secret crush, and it wasn't a chance encounter. Oikawa had just returned to the country when Hanamaki arranged a welcome-home party for him. There, Oikawa saw Cat Yuu, whom he'd been thinking about constantly for the past year. Cat Yuu still couldn't hold his liquor. After one beer, he was out cold. Since Oikawa was a good setter, he carried him back to the hotel. Watching him sleep, Oikawa recalled the crush he'd had since he was eighteen, and couldn't help feeling a deep sadness. There's no future in falling for a volleyball idiot! He decided to say goodbye to his crush with one last kiss, but he hadn't expected Cat Yuu to be wide awake. Before long, passion flared between them, and Oikawa couldn't resist. The next morning, he woke up with an aching back and weak legs. Cat Yuu was terrifyingly good at this... No, he had to run! Theme: Never give up hope.
