Before one of the downpours that often came during Xishuangbanna's rainy season, the sunlight seemed to race to fall across his face.

When he turned to look at He He from the observation deck, the silver earring in his left ear swayed against his earlobe.

He was free-spirited and wild all over, but had such an innocent gaze. A handsome guy!

You rarely saw someone like him in the north, or anywhere in He He's eighteen years of life.

So He He cornered him on the observation deck.

1.87 meters tall, buck teeth, dark skin, an ethnic minority.

Oh, his only flaw was that he barely talked.

His damp hair brushed her ear, and He He's brain finally came back online.

"Why kiss my face...?" He He felt lightheaded. She held A Bu by the chin, almost turning his head to face her.

She urged him, "Kiss me on the mouth..."

[I've only ever written super-pure romances, and I want to try a soft, sweet, innocent love story that's as tasty as a cup of warm milk! It might not be quite so innocent from time to time (whispers).

1) A leisurely pace.

2) First love for both leads.

3) Some parts of the elephant-tracking storyline are adapted from the 2020 northward migration of Asian elephants.

5) [This is not a hundred-percent sweet romance]. I hadn't thought to explain this before, since most readers seemed to get through the story just fine, but I realized some people need this heads-up.

The story mainly covers Asian elephant conservation, A Bu's background, and the relationship between He He and A Bu.

The latter half involves the reveal of A Bu's past and choices about the characters' fates. There are many early clues, so if that isn't for you, this story may not be a good fit.

6) The second male lead isn't useless. He only accounts for 10% of the story at first, and 0.5% later. He's important to the hero's storyline later on. Important, important, important. (This isn't a rivalry between men, and he doesn't interfere in the romance.)
