The Full Moon Palace [Hong Kong]

[Bunny-like sweetheart] x [Playboy]

Soapy drama / mild wallflower / the love is real, and so is the hate

Hong Kong, 1970.

Qian Manyue, a university student, would really like to interview the head of the campus newspaper's finance section and ask why he chose to title the New Year's special "The Secret Love Affairs of Henry Wu, the Dashing Playboy," if she could.

She'd also love to know why she drew the short straw and got stuck with the most ridiculous assignment!

Looking at the white buildings barely visible among the greenery halfway up the hill, Qian Manyue sighed. She really wondered if the guard dogs outside the mansion would bite her half to death before she even got in.

She had no idea why there was a fried-noodle stall outside a mansion, but she decided to fill her stomach first and worry about the rest later.

So Qian Manyue climbed onto the back of a motorcycle with a man who was also holding a plate of fried noodles. She chatted and ate with him, finishing what she thought were the most delicious fried noodles of her life.

When she saw him again at school, she learned that he was none other than Henry Wu.

Hey, I was being nice to you! Why would the supposedly terrifying man ask me so seriously whether I wanted vinegar in my fried noodles?!

"Business should never be too perfect. When water is full, it overflows; when the moon is full, it wanes. I like a full moon, so I want everything to end perfectly."

The Full Moon Palace on Victoria Peak.

Both leads are virgins.

(I've never been to Hong Kong, but I had this dream.)

(I plan to visit HK and have a look around before coming back to write this.)

Theme: Fried noodles need vinegar.
