I'm the Only Human in This Prison Full of Monsters

I was knocked unconscious on my way home from school, and my boyfriend and I were locked up in this private prison. Every day, someone gives us injections of some drug. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure it will kill someone.

My boyfriend lives next door. We communicate by knocking on the wall every day.

All we have here is an old black-and-white TV, a few books to read, and endless sheets of paper and pens.

Desperate, I think about killing myself. I cut my wrists with a razor blade and stab myself in the eye. Even with blood covering the floor, I can't die.

In the sixth year of my imprisonment, I stab a staff member to death and escape.

The first thing I do is rescue my boyfriend. I hack off his doorknob and push the door open.

The room is filthy and empty, except for a black mass of flesh.

By the time I realize what's happening, I've already torn the mass to pieces with my own hands.

Covered in blood, I sit on the bed and think:

If there's a monster living next door, who has been knocking on the wall and talking to me every day as my boyfriend?
