Protagonist: Retiring in Beika really gives me something to look forward to! Protagonist: My action-packed life in Beika: when the house catches fire, it’s action-packed in the literal sense! After clearing the endless rounds of a system-run survival game, Mochizuki Kitagawa chooses Beika, in the world of Detective Conan, as his retirement destination. Its safety rating is 6. Protagonist: The max is 10, right? (hesitant) Protagonist: The max is 100??? Protagonist: Six. He thinks that once he gets used to Beika’s frequent explosions and all its various cases, he’ll finally be able to enjoy a quiet retirement. Then his detective agency gets blown up. Protagonist: ? Protagonist: That all-black-clad organization, right? I’m joining the fight right now (draws sword). He feels so bad for the chocolate he just bought for the agency! Aaaaah! The detective leisurely sips his chocolate milk, watches the sparks from a high-rise exploding outside, and sighs: “Ah, now that’s the right flavor.” He knew there was something suspicious about Beika being so peaceful today! 1. A lighthearted story. Come enjoy “100 Ways to Make Chocolate Desserts,” starring our protagonist as the chef (applause). 2. The protagonist is strong but has F-rank luck, and still gets picked on. 3. The protagonist is firmly on the good side, laid-back, and fond of a peaceful life. But after his agency gets blown up, he won’t be quite so fond of peace (?). 4. The protagonist mostly interacts with the two members of the Bomb Disposal Unit and the Detective Boys. 5. The Police Academy crew will die, but the protagonist isn’t very close to the others. 6. The protagonist is firmly on the good side, with no secret identities or fake deaths. He loves life and has gadgets that defy the laws of the Detective Conan world, so be warned. 7. Other characters may die from time to time. Be warned. 8. The characters reflect the author’s personal interpretations, so be warned about OOC. [Upcoming story: “Don’t Play Tabletop RPGs in the Detective Conan World”] Every scenario has a dedicated NPC who carefully handles the introduction. Unfortunately, in the Detective Conan scenario, Narumi Sosuke gets stuck with the job. After the scenario is successfully playtested twenty times, and he’s played through the introduction twenty times with his memories intact, he thinks he’s seen every kind of ridiculous player move there is. But why are investigators so hard to manage these days?! Narumi Sosuke: (his hand holding a cigarette trembles slightly) “I want to use my skill!”, Investigator A “No, you don’t.” Narumi Sosuke smiles, hits the gas, and cuts them off. “I want to charm that handsome guy over there!”, Investigator B After a critical failure, Narumi Sosuke delivers the line his personality demands: “Buddy, I’m straight.” “I’ve read the walkthrough for this scenario!”, Investigator C “Oh, what was that?” Narumi Sosuke asks leisurely, wiping the blood from his face after finishing the cleanup. Beware of metagaming conversations :) Theme: Treasure everyday life.
