How Did I Lose My Memory and Pick Up a Boyfriend?

[Click to follow the author's page~] My name is Yun Jujiu, and I have amnesia. They say it happened after a terrorist attack on a Ferris wheel. The person who saved me was Mr. Matsuda, a detective with the First Investigation Division and a former ace of the bomb squad. It’s a little absurd. Living without remembering anything makes me feel like a transparent person. But this detective is pretty nice to me. He gave me a place to live, took me to see a doctor, and pays the bills. I thought he liked me, but everyone around me says I was the one pursuing him before I lost my memory. With my memory gone and not much in savings, my “freebie” boyfriend took on the role of my temporary “guardian.” But he also started wondering about the huge change in my personality before and after I lost my memory. When I held a glass of liquor and took down one ruffian per bottle, he was shocked. “You... know how to fight?” When I picked up a gun, loaded it with practiced ease, and took aim with perfect form, he was shocked again. “You... you know how to shoot?” I scratched my head. “Wasn’t I supposed to?” Him: I thought you were just an ordinary little lawyer. Me: I thought I was just an ordinary little lawyer, too. * Then one day, I, an ordinary little lawyer, happened to receive an email from a mysterious network. “Thank you for your hard work earning the target’s trust. The backup funds have been transferred.” When I tried to reply, the sender’s address had been deleted. I stared at the nine-digit balance that had appeared out of nowhere in my bank account, dumbfounded. This money... feels a little too hot to handle. [Reading guide] (1) OOC warning.
