Can a Guide with a Phoenix Spirit Form Also Attain Immortality?

An urban legend says that dimensional rifts open at night, letting monsters run rampant.

A giant bird wreathed in flames soars above the city, lighting up the night sky and striking fear into the monsters.

Qu Jingzhou sits atop a tower. He snaps his fingers toward the direction the blazing bird is flying, and flames burst in the sky like fireworks.

The next second, he's handcuffed for "disturbing the peace."

An urban legend says a firebird cries out every night, appearing beneath the dark sky and vanishing at dawn. Online, people claim it's a divine manifestation.

The Bureau of Abnormal Events sends someone to investigate the truth behind the rumors.

So, atop the city's Sky Tower, Li San catches a Guide who let his spirit companion run wild.

The Guide can't answer a single question in the interrogation room. A background check turns up no trace that he ever existed. He's an undocumented person through and through.

After investigating, Li San confirms that Qu Jingzhou had no deliberate intention of causing trouble, so he has no choice but to let him go.

But the man doesn't leave. Instead, he sticks to him. "Officer, as you can see, I have nowhere to go. How about I become your partner?"

There's a rumor at the Bureau of Abnormal Events that a gorgeous man recently joined the bureau and latched onto their captain, Li San, who never gives anyone an inch. He's bewitched the whole place with his looks, and now the captain spends every day doting on him.

An anonymous insider confirms that every bit of the rumor is true. When he passed the captain's office this morning, he heard Captain Li say to the gorgeous man, "Qu Jingzhou! Get over here and put your coat on!"
