Li En belongs to the merfolk, the people chosen by the gods. His dream is to follow the instructions in the prophecy book, use his words of power to convey the gods' will, and lead the faithful away from disaster.
But in the blink of an eye, he finds himself in the apocalyptic future described in the prophecy book: the ancient gods have fallen, and evil gods have invaded.
Creatures mutate, monsters run rampant, and a massive tsunami threatens to swallow the land.
Only the prophecy book's guidance can help them survive this disaster.
Li En: ovo
The guidance is right here!
But before Li En can put his ambitions into action, a giant net suddenly drops from the sky and snatches him up.
Li En: QAQ
Are humans in the apocalypse really this disrespectful to divine envoys?
The good news: He's been given to the strongest leader among humans!
The bad news: This leader is immune to his words of power and has already been corrupted by an evil god!
The strongest human keeps Li En at home under strict surveillance around the clock. He can't escape, can't win a fight, and they can't even understand each other's language.
Li En can only try to win him over through body language and cleanse the corruption from him.
But after some time, Li En realizes that the purification progress isn't budging. Instead, the human has pinned him to the bed and is mating with him...
Isn't it a little despicable to corrupt him this way?

After a sweep at sea, Song Xinian brings back an S-rank rare trophy: a mermaid.
He's beautiful, dazzling, and delicate. The moment he comes ashore, he fetches an unprecedentedly high price at a secret auction, and countless collectors of strange creatures are waiting for him to enter the market.
But Song Xinian refuses.
The mermaid is certainly excessively beautiful, but he's also been corrupted by an evil god.
He speaks a language Song Xinian can't understand, yet his allure is irresistible.
Anyone who hears his strange speech loses their free will and obeys the mermaid without question.
Only Song Xinian can resist the control of his strange speech.
The corrupted mermaid is ultimately deemed a high-risk contaminant and is not to be sold for the time being. Song Xinian, captain of the Field Operations Team at the Bureau of Anomalous Creature Management, is assigned to contain him until the corruption is removed.
And so, Song Xinian finds himself with a fish at home.
To keep this priceless mermaid from dying under his roof, he has no choice but to take responsibility for him.
But the corrupted mermaid is a bit of a handful. At first, he keeps trying to escape. Later, he is always rubbing his tail against Song Xinian.
Song Xinian opens a book on mermaid behavior and discovers that this is called... courtship...
He watches as the mermaid hooks Song Xinian's wrist with the tip of his tail every day, then slowly climbs up his body. The icy scales set his skin ablaze...
Song Xinian suddenly doesn't want to hand him over anymore.
He's only a corrupted mermaid. He doesn't eat much, and if he leaves, he might die in someone else's hands.
Keeping him here is just right. Song Xinian can give him the love he likes, and a relationship can keep the mermaid's delicate temper in check.
He can keep him for the rest of his life.
The corruption is a problem, though. Whenever news of the evil god reaches them, the little mermaid can't help trying to run outside.
Song Xinian has no choice but to lock him up. A mermaid out of water can't swim, and there's nowhere to escape on the bed.
He accepts the mermaid's request to mate and pins him down until his tail fin no longer has the strength to put up a fight...

Li En thinks humans are a little too clingy with fish. They keep touching places they shouldn't, and they're always trying to mate with him.
He thinks his efforts to win the human over have gone a little off track. But when he feels how gentle the human is with him, he thinks maybe this isn't so bad after all.
Mating is the most effective way to purify him, so it works out well for both of them.
But is the human a little too rough? His tail keeps bending and straightening, over and over...
In the end, the human presses a kiss to his forehead. "Don't worry. I'll kill the evil god and set your mind free."
Li En: "&*??"
Li En, who has only recently learned the modern language, is dumbfounded. "Aren't you a follower of the evil god?"
TIPS:
1. Powerful, influential, wealthy, and strongest human top x beautiful nonhuman mermaid bottom. One-on-one. No ship-breaking, ship-reversing, dream-shipping, or putting either character down.
2. Since the two leads don't share a language or customs, they spend a long time on completely different wavelengths in every sense, resulting in lots of misunderstandings and funny mix-ups. They're a pair of silly lovebirds (not really).
3. I've revised the blurb many times, but it's still the same story, and the same fish dumplings with vinegar. I just kept feeling that the blurb wasn't clear enough, so I kept changing it.
4. A mishmash of pseudo-Western fantasy and an apocalyptic world of evolutionary change, with made-up myths and legends. Don't overanalyze it, just go along with my nonsense.
