Spinning Among the Stars [Interstellar]

In a nutshell: A gene-awakened man from Blue Star and a split-personality System travel from planet to planet, digging traps for each other and bickering like a couple of cheerful adversaries. The setting is sci-fi space opera, with a touch of eldritch gods and chaotic creatures. It's a road-trip story focused on plot, and the pacing may be a little slow! 1 Magic Mirror is a System from a highly advanced interstellar civilization. Its mission is to help less advanced civilizations improve their overall level of development, otherwise known as poverty alleviation. But these days, powerful people who tear Systems apart are everywhere. Magic Mirror was torn apart by several former bosses over and over, until he finally decided to give up. Just as he was about to abandon the ultimate mission assigned by his parent company for good, he was drifting peacefully through space when his particle net accidentally caught a trace of a soul's fluctuations. The System's instincts bubbled up again. Like every System that saves a protagonist from disaster, he asked: "Do you want to live?" Zhou Fengfeng, a gene-awakened man from Blue Star, seized that one chance at life without hesitation. "Yes." Only after the contract was complete did Magic Mirror realize there was a problem. Magic Mirror: Damn, why is this boss from Blue Star too? All the bosses who tore me apart before were from Blue Star. What do I do? I'm freaking out! 2 In the 25th century, Blue Star's starships ventured into the vastness of space. Zhou Fengfeng, one of the first pioneers, was unfortunately caught in a radiation storm and rescued at death's door by an intelligent System claiming to come from a higher-dimensional planet. But after spending some time with it, Zhou Fengfeng noticed a problem. "Magic Mirror, I have a question. What did your previous Hosts think of you?" Magic Mirror answered miserably, "...They didn't just take me apart. They also made me reinstall my system and reboot!" Magic Mirror turned into a palm-sized little mirror and kept nuzzling Zhou Fengfeng's chest. "I always end up with Hosts who act like monsters. Zhou Fengfeng, you're not like that, are you?" Zhou Fengfeng: "..." You help me leap between the stars, spinning through the cosmos. I spin around you, and you are my cosmos. Notes: The gong and shou are equals and respect each other. Slow burn. The gong handles the fighting, while the shou is the brains. My own take on technology. The author's scientific knowledge is limited, so just enjoy the story and don't take it too seriously! Split-personality System shou (Magic Mirror) x non-human gong (Zhou Fengfeng) This is the blurb for now. One-on-one romance. Here's a preview of my upcoming novel, a male lead with no romance, ghostly survival-game infinite flow: "Don't Stop Me, I'm Going Into the Instance [Book Transmigration]" Zhou Mu transmigrates into a supernatural infinite-flow novel and becomes the protagonist's older brother. But because he has a baby-care System from an advanced interstellar civilization loaded into him, all the bizarre and terrifying ghosts and monsters in his eyes turn into fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, pumpkins, and radishes. Everyone else is fighting for their lives. Zhou Mu is chopping fruit and vegetables. Bad news: The adulthood age set by the advanced interstellar civilization's baby-care System is 200 years. Zhou Mu: If I make it to 100, that's already a win, okay? Good news: Time spent in instances counts toward growing up, and each instance gives him a chance to win a prize. Zhou Mu: Don't stop me, I'm going into the instance! To make the world look normal to him again, and to quickly rack up 200 years, Zhou Mu starts diving into instances like crazy. He becomes a notorious instance maniac and, without realizing it, everyone's savior. The original novel's actual savior, Zhou Tang, Zhou Mu's younger brother: ??? Bro, calm down! Bro, stop going crazy! Bro, just listen to me! Bro!!! But actually... Zhou Mu: I just want to see what this world really looks like before I die! Theme: Traveling through the universe takes curiosity, tolerance, and an unwavering pioneering spirit.
